Senior Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Pre-Sales Engineer who will play a crucial role in our sales process by providing technical expertise and support to our sales team and clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create compelling presentations and documentation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions that meet their needs.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations of our products and solutions to prospective clients.
  • Assist in the development of sales proposals, technical responses to RFPs, and other sales collateral.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including software content, user manuals, and technical guides.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to showcase the capabilities of our products.
  • Provide technical support during the sales cycle, including product installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a technical pre-sales or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for creating professional presentations and documentation.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent technical writing skills with experience in creating software content, user manuals, and technical guides.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, networking concepts, and cloud computing.
  • Familiarity with technical tools and platforms used in the sales process, such as CRM systems and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, presentations, and events.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with graphic design tools for creating visually appealing presentations and sales collateral.
  • Knowledge of additional languages or technical certifications.
  • Previous experience in the software industry or related field.
