Job Description
AHD Technology is seeking an experienced Technical Writer with expertise in writing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), technical proposals, and user manuals to join our team.
This position offers a mix of remote work and on-site presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to outline product features, functionalities, and specifications.
- Develop detailed technical proposals and documentation for client projects, including project plans, scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
- Interface directly with customers to provide technical support, address inquiries, and gather feedback on documentation usability and business functionality.
- Create user manuals, guides, and tutorials to assist end users in effectively utilizing our software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers, to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Participate in meetings and workshops to understand project requirements and provide documentation support as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, with a focus on BRDs, technical proposals, and user manuals.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams and Agile environments.
- Flexibility to work remotely and on-site based on project requirements and team needs.
