Principal Responsibilities of the Role
- Responsible for driving the portfolio management discipline in partnership with their assigned IT Senior Leader(s) and developing a trusted advisor relationship with them.
- Defines, plans, tracks, and manages portfolios, including identifying key resources, providing the direction required to meet the program/project objectives and commitments (schedule, resource, cost, benefits, scope, content) and ensuring appropriate mgmt., customer, and supplier involvement throughout the program lifetime.
Activities
- Partners with the IT Senior Leaders and drives annual roadmap planning and prioritization of Invest projects/programs for financial approval in accordance with established budgets/timeframes
- Responsible for maintenance to organizational performance standards on project related data quality
- Responsible for managing all aspects of portfolio management from discovery through delivery implementation
- Responsible for resource modeling
- Provides management and strategic direction to a project team and shares responsibility for the project development, budget and schedule
- Set priorities, defines dependencies, and schedules activities
- Reports on financial data for portfolios/programs/projects
- Creates high quality, timely, and informative status updates that management can leverage for Steering Committees, Executive Portfolio Reviews, and CIO meetings
- Ensures projects / programs are delivered on time and within budget
- Manages risk exposure across multiple programs
- Develop and maintain project, program and/or PMO operational metrics
- Prepares and delivers effective presentations to stakeholders
- Identifies key project risks and manage to ensure the delivery of business goals
- Ensures consistency and adherence to PMO operational standards and processes
- Leads global project management collaboration efforts
What you need for this position:

- 7-10 years’ experience in project and program delivery
- Financial forecasting and budget analysis.
- Resource forecasting and capacity planning.

- Understand the advances in technology during the project’s execution, infrastructure changes that impact security and data management and unknown dependent relationships among hardware, software, network infrastructure and data
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Certification in PMP and / or Agile related required; Graduate Degree desired
