Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Implement new features and enhancements to existing applications.
- Utilize relational databases such as MySQL to store and retrieve data.
- Document code, processes, and system architecture to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for scalability and speed.
- Implement security best practices to protect applications from common vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a PHP developer with expertise in the Laravel framework.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
- Database design and management skills with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
- Understanding of software development methodologies and Agile practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
